Fredrick Msigallah is a policy analyst with 20 years’ experience of working in the NGO sector of which 10 years in the disability movement. Being holder of Bachelor of Education from the University of Dar es Salaam and Master degree in International Development: Public Policy Management from the University of Manchester in UK, Fredrick Msigallah has extensive experience in human rights, project management, lobbying and advocacy and capacity building on disability rights and disability inclusion. For the past ten years, Fredrick has actively engaged in advocating for the rights of persons with disabilities and their inclusion in all aspects of life. Further, he has been actively engaged in raising awareness of development actors and the public in general on the rights of persons with disabilities and need to ensure the laws and policies that promote and protect the rights of persons with disabilities are effectively enforced by the relevant authorities. Being a person with physical impairment, Fredrick’s passion is to see people with disabilities are enjoying their basic human rights as those without disabilities and that they are fully included in social, economic, political and cultural aspects. Currently, Fredrick is working for Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania as Programme Manager- Advocacy and Disability Inclusion.
